Andreane received a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Laval University, Canada.  She holds her certificate of clinical competence from ASHA (American Speech-Language and Hearing Association).

 

She is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2014. She specializes in providing speech and language therapy to children on the Autism spectrum that have moderate to severe deficits and that engage in challenging behaviors.

 

Andreane is recognized by Apraxia-Kids for advanced training and expertise in Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She completed the Childhood Apraxia of Speech Intensive training institute at Dusquesne University in 2018. 

 

She continuously receives training in the field of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to support her clientele. One of her favorite approach is language acquisition through motor planning (LAMP).  She is a member of special interest group SIG 12, Augmentative and Alternative Communication.

Melissa received her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. She holds her certificate of clinical competence from ASHA (American Speech-Language and Hearing Association).

 

Melissa has over 7 years of clinical experience working with children from ages 1-18 as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Her areas of interest include: early intervention, alternative and augmentative communication, childhood apraxia of speech, and speech disorders.

 

She is trained in implementing DTTC and P.R.O.M.P.T. for children with childhood apraxia of speech. Melissa is
recognized by Apraxia Kids for advanced training and expertise in childhood apraxia of speech.
She completed the Apraxia Kids Bootcamp training at Duquesne University in 2023.

Paige received her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Speech-Language Pathology at the California State University at Northridge. She holds her certificate of clinical competence from ASHA (American Speech-Language and Hearing Association).
 
Paige has over 3 years of clinical experience working with children in the clinical and school setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Her areas of interest include: early intervention, childhood apraxia of speech, AAC, and speech disorders.
 
She has predominantly worked with children between the ages of 18 months and 18 years, diagnosed with autism, cerebral palsy, Down’s Syndrome, developmental language impairments, and speech sound disorders. Paige is trained in implementing DTTC for children with Apraxia of Speech and is currently completing her RBT training to grow her skillset. Additionally, she has 4 years of experience working as an ABA therapist in the home setting. 

Paige values building meaningful connections, encouraging teamwork, and empowering families to use the skills learned in therapy. She is dedicated to continuous growth, consistently seeking out new training and educational opportunities to best support her clients.
 

Christina brings a comprehensive background in working with children of all abilities across clinical, school, recreational, and caregiving settings. Before joining Speech Point, she spent two years as a pediatric SLP in a multidisciplinary clinic in San Diego, supporting children from 18 months through 18 years. Her clinical interests include early intervention, autism spectrum disorder, and childhood apraxia of speech (CAS).

Christina is passionate about helping children, she believes that play is a powerful gateway to communication, connection, and confidence. Her therapy style blends evidence-based practices with engaging, child-led play to create meaningful, motivating learning experiences.

She is currently pursuing her Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification. This additional training allows her to integrate behavioral strategies into her speech therapy sessions, supporting functional communication and strengthening the skills children need across environments.

Christina values collaboration with families and views caregiver partnership as essential to each child’s long-term success. She is dedicated to empowering both children and their families with practical, personalized tools that support communication in everyday life.

Rachel is a certified speech-language pathology assistant and a Registered Behavior Technician. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders at Cal State Fullerton. ​

 

Rachel started her career working as a behavior interventionist for a behavioral health agency. ​

 

As a team member of Speech Point, she maintains a double certification in order to provide the best treatment possible to children with Autism. She specializes in integrating the principles of ABA into her therapy sessions in order to supports children's participation and progress in speech and language. ​Her area of interests include working with children with autism, children with motor speech disorders, alternative and augmentative communication and social and pragmatic skills.

 

She has been working at Speech Point since 2018. She obtained the C-SLPA certification from ASHA, keeping up with the highest industry standards for speech-language pathology assistants.

Maria is a bilingual speech-language pathology assistant who earned her associate’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Orange Coast College in 2019. She then earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from California State University, Fullerton in 2021. Maria is trained in Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), enhancing her ability to provide specialized interventions for children with apraxia of speech. She has over 4 years of clinical experience working with children from ages 1-18 as a SLPA. Maria utilizes evidence-based practices to effectively implement targeted therapy interventions. Her primary areas of interest include: early intervention, alternative and augmentative communication, childhood apraxia of speech, and speech disorders. 

 

Maria has always been passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and creating connections with the families she works with. She believes in the power of collaboration and strives to equip families with practical tools they can carry over into their daily lives. Her love for helping others naturally led her to the field of speech therapy, where she finds joy in helping children discover and strengthen their voices.

Shalu

Shalu Chauhan is a tri-lingual (Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi) licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with over six years of clinical experience serving individuals from early intervention through adulthood. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from California State University, Fullerton, and maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Shalu’s clinical expertise spans pediatric and adult populations, including individuals with autism, childhood apraxia of speech, developmental language disorders, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy, as well as adults with acquired neurological conditions such as aphasia, traumatic brain injury, dysarthria, and voice disorders. She is certified in LSVT (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment) and has provided evidence-based intervention across clinic, home-based, school, and medical settings.

She specializes in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), early intervention, motor speech disorders, and complex communication needs. Her advanced training includes motor-based and evidence-informed approaches such as Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), orofacial/myofunctional therapy principles, LAMP, and Gestalt Language Processing, as well as parent-focused frameworks including the Hanen Programs (More Than Words® and It Takes Two to Talk®). Shalu has extensive experience conducting AAC assessments, supporting device trials, and coaching families and interdisciplinary teams to promote functional communication and generalization across environments.​
